Good, Affordable rooms for short period stay

Affordable, Decent sized room, well for short period stay. Housekeeping should have been little bit better, found previous guest’s grocery (pasta & candy tin) in the bedside table drawer. The most problem I had was with the location; let me explain why. If you are travelling with your own car then it’s a very good hotel. But if you are travelling with public transport (which I did, coz being an Australian myself I knew Sydney is not the most pleasant city for driving) then its bit tricky cause the hotel isn’t located anywhere near to train station. You’ve to come to Strathfield station from Central, and then you’ve to catch another 15 minutes bus ride to reach near to the hotel, which are more time consuming & more costly ($8 each way).
The main reason I choose this hotel because I was attending a concert at the Olympic park, which I thought would be quite close to my hotel, but it’s not a short walking distance; I had to take a taxi (public transport isn’t good there as I’ve mentioned) and it cost me $30 each way. So if you’re driving personal car then it’s quite nice place to stay.

The reception nice and friendly people in general the room is nice but the carpet is not clear as should be.
Also it is good option for adult. Because my little son less than 2 years old is not good place he pick up something on carpet and so on
The location to train station is far away but there is bus stops near the motel
Finally yes is value of money

Food is readily available and there are many restaurants just 5 mins drive away. Woolworths supermarket is also nearby at abour 10 mins walk. Considering the price, it was a value for money accommodation. Room size was sufficient for us. As we had 6 person in total, the 2 interconnecting rooms made communication much easier. One can also relax at the TV room at the reception where satellite TV was available. We watched soccer, tennis, etc and had a great time.
