If desiring to stay in a quieter part of Sydney, yet still have access to everything then this may be the right place to book. The hotel is graciously decorated with 18th century art and a great many Georgian antiques as are the guestrooms. Every one of the rooms feature large Italian marble bathrooms with separate shower and tub and some of the rooms feature sweeping views of the Sydney Harbor. Be sure to check out the nearby Sydney Harbor National Park where guests can discover a wilderness in the city that is truly an escape. Double Bay is truly a beautiful part of Sydney that many visitors prefer to actually staying in the city center and this hotel is one of the better ones in that part of town.

The hotel is located at Double Bay, which is considered an outskirt of Sydney City. It is a very nice hotel if you want to enjoy the beach and relaxing atmosphere of Sydney, but not recommended if you want to enjoy the usual city activities. Limousine bus services and tour operators do not provide the pick-up service to this hotel, which is quite inconvenient as you need to take a taxi to and from the airport as well as to the tour operator pick-up points.

Good location if you want to relax.

Bad location if you want to enjoy the city.
