A great luxury option very near the airport, the 310 recently refurbished rooms at this property are perfect for those requiring proximity to the airport. Unlike other hotels near the airport, the entire establishment is outfitted with sound-resistant glass in order to keep the noise from the airport outside. Located just a few minutes from the domestic and international terminals, the hotel is perfect for quick and easy transport which can easily be arranged either in the airport or in the hotel. There are two restaurants in-house as well as a very stylish lobby bar. The recent winner of Australiasia's Leading Airport Hotel award, the staff is seeing to it that the level of excellence that won the award in the first place, is maintained.

Close to the airport; friendly staff
The hotel itself was not listed under directory assistance! We wanted to call the hotel a couple of days before arriving to verify our reservation, but we could not find their phone number. There was no number printed on the Agoda receipt that I took with me on the trip, just an address. Agoda should include the phone number along with the address of the hotel on their receipt.
Breakfast buffet very average. Also, the hotel did not leave soap in our room so we used the one tube of body wash we could find! We could have called room service and asked for soap but we were very tired and had to get up early for a departing flight so did not bother!
The hotel is great for people who need to be close to the airport for an early departure, however, I would not stay here for any other reason. The breakfast buffet was very average and one of the great things about being at a hotel is not having to cook yourself, so it's nice if the food is above average! However, the hotel was a great price so it was certainly fine for what we paid.
Travel tip : We could not find their phone number through directory assistance.

Right near the Sydney Airport. We were able to leave some luggage there 2 weeks before our arrival because we had to go to Perth before actually staying there.
It was not clear (when I had booked on-line) that we would need to pay for the shuttle to our terminal. Somehow the wording made me think it was free.
I had looked on-line for a place for my husband and I to stay the night before we headed home after a 3-month stay in Australia. The web-site was very accurate. The hotel is right near the airport, a few minutes from our terminal. The room was comfortable and clean. The dinner we had, at the hotel, was tasty and the setting was quite nice. The front-desk-staff were friendly and helpful. If I need to stay "at the Sydney Airport," I would stay here again.

Not so efficient shuttle service. The roomes could be cleaner
I stayed overnight at Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport Hotel due to its proximity to the airport since I arrived late at night and had to take an early flight to Auckland, New Zealand. I was not impressed with the the cleanliness of the rooms and had an unfortunate situation of being left by the shuttle bus to the airport since the driver decided to leave 5 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. We also had difficulty looking for the shuttle when we arrived. My overall experience was not that good.
Hotel Feature Tip : You should go the shutttle appointment time 10 muinutes earlier otherwise they will leave you
