Nice pool and jacuzzi. We also liked the multiple pillow options. Apparently mostly all hotels in Sydney charge extra for internet and phone, but nonetheless we found these charges to be exceptionally high at the Swissotel. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. We liked the pool and jacuzzi and we also liked that the hotel offered multiple pillow options as well as a foam underlay. We didn't like that the hotel charged excessive additional fees for internet usage and local phone calls, but apparently this is the norm in Sydney. The hotel is in a nice location, not far from Hyde park and very close to beautiful Darling Harbor.

the most comfortable bed I've experienced;
the best location across from the State Threatre and QVB building for shopping fun. waiting 40 minutes for a plate and knife. Sydney's Swissotel remains one of your best options to stay in the centre of town in a fine hotel
Restaurant Tip : take the monorail to chinatown for a great lunch;
enjoy the marigold across from paddy's market.

A reasonable price for food & drink When we arrived at 8 a.m. after travelling for 24 hours, we were very pleased to find our room ready. The staff at the reception desk & the concierge were extremely helpful - they went above and beyond to meet our needs. The few times we had to call housekeeping, they were at our room with the requested items instantly. The room, itself was modern and nice.
Shopping Tip : A large shopping mall with several floors underground in the Victoria building is virtually under the hotel.
