We were in Deluxe queen room. Room Features include seating area and kitchenette. We have not found any seating area at all. There are bed and one armchair.It is extremely small room.No place for chairs and table. Kitchenette is a sink with a microwave on it. No place for dishes.

An excellent hotel in a great location
I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was centrally located, within walking distance of many attractions and at a great price. What more could you ask.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Sydney Wattle. The room was better than I expected at the price. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I will definitely stay there again and will recommend it to friends.

Terrible experience even for a budget hotel

I was travelling to Sydney to attend a party with a group of friends and we were looking for a cheap but comfortable room in a convenient location. Finding a room suitable for 3 people had proven much more difficult than first imagined but then I found and booked this room and paid the higher charge for 3 people in the room.
Upon arrival at the hotel I was surprised to walk into a small room with a queen size bed only. I approached the front office manager who advised me that in spite of having booked for 3 people, the room would only ever come with 1 bed???? After much (heated discussion) they agreed to provide us with a roll away bed at no additional charge (although finding floor space for the roll away was also very challenging).
When the roll away was delivered to the room, the staff member dropped the base of the bed on my head! I was certainly not off to a good start with this hotel.
After that, it appeared that the reception hours that were listed were not so and we did not see atff member at all on Sunday morning, not even for us to check out. So we put the keys on the desk and left. Very strange experience and incredibaly disappointing.
