downstairs were bars and clubs, couldnt sleep
it's an old bldg and renovated recently, however, u can hear the cracky sounds when you step on the floor. The bathroom was tiny

great location.
nearby train station - king cross. bus stop. Easy to go Circular Quay.

i stayed for 4 nights. don't know the reason to up grade to Twin Deluxe room. Service quite good. have many restaurants and bars.
Restaurant Tip:
have manys restaurants at victoria street and darlinghust st.

if u want to stay at Kings X, choose this hotel

Toilet: Clean but really tiny
Location: at heart of Kings Cross but away from noise (ask for rooms away from entrance)

Net: only FOC at lobby (2 terminals)

Location (3min walk to station), Friendly and Helpful Receptionist

Although located in a red-light district, it isn't as sleazy as it sounds.
The hotel is conveniently located: 3-minute walk to the Kings Cross station, good food within walking distance and a 24hr Coles down the street.
Recommended food within 10-minute walk radius:
Quick and Delicious Kebab - Best Kebab
Good Chinese food - KL Kitchen
Awesome Gelato - Messina
Fast Food - McDonald's, Subway and Pie Face
Really friendly and helpful receptionist who recommended places to visit, food to eat and gave us driving/road tips when he found out we were going to rent a car.

great location, great rooms, great staff.
the beds are comfy and big, the shower was amazing, the staff are welcoming and helpful

I had a great stay at the bayswater, everything was lovely no complaints. will definitely be staying there in my future travels.
Nightlife Tip:
Even though you are in kings cross, make sure you check out the oxford street nightlife. you won't regret it!

Very nice stay. Staff are nice. Room service is good. Have free drinks and ice cream. For two people, small double is kind of small. May need to book larger room next time.
