The Menzies Hotel is located in the heart of the Sydney CBD and financial districts. Opposite Wynard train station the Menzies is an ideal location for either walking, busing or catching trains to Sydney business meetings or tourist locations. The hotel is less than 5 minute walk to Circular Quay and centrally located for a great range of restaraunts. The Hotel has that traditional appeal however rooms are modern and reasonably spacious. Overall I found the Menzies Hotel and ideal option for both business and leisure travel and overall good value for money.

So central to the city. Train station opposite. Close to wharf area

We were absolutely delighted to discover the location of the Menzies was so central to the city with easy access on foot to city shopping, trains, buses, Darling harbour, Cicular Quay, The Rocks, Harbour Bridge, etc. We even walked from the wharf after arriving off our cruise with our suitcases. Menzies has a lovely foyer, the room was lovely, very clean and well furnished. Assisted by friendly staff to arrange shuttle transfer and boarding pass for Airport.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Everything is so easily accessible from Hotel location

The location is great, you are a short 10 min walk to the opera house and bridge

Not to many places to eat near by, but only a short taxi trip to find somewhere.

I got the train straight from the airport, which only took about 20 mins. I was expecting to have to walk all around the city to try and find the hotel but as soon as i walked out of the train station there it was. And then when we went to the Opera house it was only a 10 min walk, no need for a taxi. Great location and i would stay there again. I can't comment on the food because we didn't eat there.
