Pleasant staff, typical high rise downtown hotel. Most of our activities were in the city itself, so didn't use the swimming pool, gym. spa, etc., so the hotel was a bit overpriced for what we needed. Nickel/dimed us on credit card fees. Fabulous location 2 blocks from Central Station.

I only stayed for one night since I am leaving for Canberra the following day. My only grudge probably is the very late check in time (2pm) since I arrived to the hotel really early (and exhausted) after taking a red eye flight from Indonesia and I really wanted to immediately rest and take a good shower after a long flight. But I think most hotel in Sydney have this late check policy, so I guess nothing I can do about it.The good thing is the front desk allows you to leave your luggage with them and they will hold it until it is time for you to check in

A nice, clean, conveniently located hotel (right next to central station). I was so impressed by the staff. Staff were polite, friendly, chatted to me, we're genuine and thoughtful, offering to help me with my bags, help me with directions and they seemed happy at work.
My room was spacious and clean. Nice to have some windows and a view over Surry Hills. Breakfast was included in the room rate.
The in floor aquarium in the foyer is v popular with guests and children!
Shopping Tip:
There are shops and grocery stores on crown street and Mary street, a ten minute walk up the hill (Albion st).

i like this hotel. it is well located, and the staff is simply very nice. very helpfull in getting cabs, they come and greet you when you arrive by car and they are very polite. i remember alvin, a kiwi guy. very polite and professional. i love the location, surry hills is nice.

This is a classy hotel and was perfect for access to the City whilst only minutes from my work place on the Monday morning. Whilst I did not use it the indoor swimming pool was very popular and of a reasonable size. The included breakfast was generous in choice!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Whilst it might seem that the hotel is not really In the city centre and this is true it is nevertheless a short walk away from the south end of Hyde park, Chinatown, and yes Surry Hills.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Its location is a very plus point for travelers staying in the city for just a few days, as the city's sightseeing points like the Opera House, the bridge etc are all easily accessible. We didnt use the hotel facilities like the swimming pools or gym, but they do provide such things in case you need. Overall not a bad option for a not-so-expensive accommodation in the city.
