Budget Hotel which has a convenient location

I feel secured when I stayed in this hotel because in the late evening, you cannot enter the main door if you do not have any key card. Same thing as going up the floors using the lift, no key card, the lift will not move (unless u tailgate). Its very convenient to almost all main places in Sydney such as Thai Town, Chinatown, Gaytown (Oxford), CBD (George St.). Its walking distance to Darling Harbour, Circular Quay and The Rocks. My only complaint is the single bed. We stayed in a twin bed room and the beds are so small and narrow (not even the usual super single).

Had 3 nights at Travel Lodge and have no complaints. Nice big bright room, all amenties working. 3 minutes walk to Museum Station, and Hyde Park, and Elizabeth St. Lots cafes and pubs and restaurants surround. Only thing missing was free wifi in rooms, but great value hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
Brewery Hotel directly across road has great cheap food. $12 steak night Tuesdays was super value. Also Clove Indian restaurant on Crowne St, 5 minutes away.

close to museum station and can just walk to central station..so easy to go anywhere..
the hotel rate not that bad as we stay more than 3 days and got 20% disc.easy to get halal food as its not far from george street..lots of hala food there.
hotel also provide microwave,outside sink,mini fridge..so easier for us to take away food and reheat...will stay here if come to sydney again..

The hotel seems to be running close to full occupancy and wasn't able to arrange a queen size bed for us. Nevertheless, front desk staff are helpful and friendly. We were given a triple single bed instead.
The air conditioning for heat not working very well and it's pretty cold as the sun sets. We had to keep warm by wearing more layers of clothing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Hyde Park is just nearby where you can catch the train at Museum Station to move around.

when they checked us in they checked us into a room that was already occupied with a person sleeping in the bed! Also after an apology from the staff they still could not give us the double bed room that we booked only three single beds. Other than that all was good and the staff were helpful.
