No parking at the hotel and extra parking fee for parking. Staff were unhelpful. When questioned we were told that's out of our control.
On arrival we were told there was no parking included at the hotel but we could park at a parking station a discounted rate. The room had strong odor but as we were only staying one night and were going out till late we decide to stay. I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is well sitauated close to the subway station and not too far from the tourist areas. Clean and well organized. Bed was comfortable. Staff was courteous. Room was a good size and the heat/cooling was very comfortable. I would recommend it and would go back.
Failed to explain the breakfast was $6.00 less if they gave you a coupon. Was $18.00 instead of $12.00. This erked me and we found other places to eat that were better. I would have thought they would have wanted to promote their business.
We wanted 3 more days and they first said no problem but it became a problem. We found another hotel for (2) days. Then they contacted us that they had room. Not a good execution but we had a good time at another hotel but it was not close to subway. No internet in the room and to use their caffee was $2.00 for 20 minutes.
Australia is an expensive place compared to the United States. Food in the grocery is about X2 and eating out is about 3X compared to US. That is in the Sydney area. People were friendly and helpfull. The public transportation was excellent. For $45.00 you can buy are a card for a week that will allow you to travel rail, bus and ferry boats. That is good. It cost about $18.00 for a 7 mile trip from the airport in the train. A lot more cost than Boston's MTA or the Chicago train to downtown.
The Maritime Museum was fantastic as was the Powerhouse Museum of science. The zoo was a regular zoo but the view of the city was spectular. The bird show was like no other we have seen.
I was disappointed in not getting a good seafood dinner as you could in a lot of US coastal cities.
We had one fish dinner of fried fish. Did not see baked potatoes or sweet potatoes. They are heavy on big bacon and pair it with big sausage. About 3X the bacon of what is normal in US. The minimum wage seemed to be $18.00 and that would explain the high prices.
Being only a couple blocks from the subway was very convenient for getting around. The hotel is also in a business setting almost next to a big YWCA. There were many athletes from around the World attending World games held at the Olympic Village Park. Lots of activity at this hotel. Interesting enough, there are Senior discounts in Sydney but only for Australians.
Hotel Feature Tip : We paid for a (3rd) person, our daughter, through Agoda. She did not come, could not get a seat on the plane. We should not have paid this but waited until we arrived. It was an extra $30.00 or so per night. The week travel pass worked well if you do not have a car.

Close to Museum Station & Monorail
Good, clean room.
Small kitchenette in room.
Internet & drink machines available.
We arrived far too early to check-in!
A good hotel, we couldn't check-in as we had arrived far to early but our bags were locked away for us and the helpful staff gave us a map showing where Museum Station was and how to get to Darling Harbour, the Rocks and Circular Quay. The room was good and clean, bathroom fine, good view as we were on the 16th floor, small kitchenette with microwave and fridge. We would stay there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Museum Station is out of the hotel and turn left up the hill!

If you are looking for a reasonably cheap, clean, quiet place to lay your head for a few nights then this place is fine. It's a travelodge so approach it with low expectations and you may be positively surprised. Not the sort of place you really want to spend much time so go out and enjoy the city.

I was very happy with our accommodations, it was clean and comfortable and the closeness of the hotel to the local tourist spots, restaurants, shops and nightlife was a bonus. Would stay there again.

Good place close to Oxford Street and within walking distance to the SCG
Restaurant Tip : Go for a wander up Oxford Street - good restaurants and it is very entertaining to sit back and watch the locals
