Corridors leading to the rooms are not well lit and they look aged. Room is average, nothing special. No plates or cutlery in the room...We phoned the reception to request for cutlery but they said we have to pay $5 for them to deliver the cutlery to our room...so I just went down to the reception to pick up the cutlery myself. Overall, I recommend this hotel if you are looking for a good location and if luxury or good service is not important to you. I am more impressed by Travelodge Bankstown and Wentworth Ave.

i agree that this is a basic hotel with an excellent central location. our room had a lovely view of the ugly wall of the building next door, but it was quiet and mostly clean. the location was equidistant and easy walking distance to the bridge, darling harbour, tower, rocks, shopping and restaurants, so no problem there. stay here if location and price is more important than fancy.

We stayed 2 nights for the rugby league grand final and found the hotel's close proximity to Darling Harbour, Circular Quay,Martin Place and Wynyard railway station exactly what we required.
Helpful service, clean and comfortable rooms.
Travel tip:
Taxi drivers will ask for a higher fixed fare for early morning travel to the airport so it's probably better to travel on the meter. Hotel arranged airport shuttle costs $14pp
but will take approx 1 hour.

good location and reasonable price

clean room, service average no WIFI. Well located hotel which is now showing it age. The staff were not friendly and the restaurant food was only just edible. Worst was to pay circa $150 buck per night and have no wifi is outragous. I would have put up with the other shortcomings if I could communicate with the outside worls. Rooms were clean and comfortable but not flash.

The rooms very pretty big but the bathroom was slightly small. The bedside lamps were a bit of a trouble since there was no switch and you had to reach behind your bed for the main switch to switch it off.
The hotel was location at a location where the road becomes one-way so the taxi has to either go one-round to drop you at the door or drop u at the side of the road and you walk a few metres to the hotel.
Stay was pleasant and walkable to many places like The Rocks.
Restaurant Tip:
The oldest ramen restaurant in Australia is just 2 shops away from the hotel, to the left.
