When I booked it I thought it was some sort of hostel but I have to say that I was positively impressed with the quality of the room and the cleanliness. I was upgraded to a double room which is very tiny but all the comforts of a bigger hotel are there.

Nothing good frankly. Not really cheap as I can find reasonable price of hotel in the central, please note that this hotel is a distance away from central. When I fisrt go in and turned on the aircon, a worm like insect (not little) fall from the air con to the bed. Yacks! The aircon is on top of bed and water dripping. Requesting for room service, I realised that only bed was done (not proper) and towel/floor mat/toilet remain unchanged/untidy when I was back to my room at night.

Worst Stay Ever in Sydney

Stay at the Y Hotel was terrible. I could not sleep a wink, the 5 nights I had at the hotel. The hotel is actually a YWCA which is fine. Trouble is, its located on the edge of the railway lines on one side and the highway on the other. Hotel trembles every 10 mins when a train passes and the noise is intolerable. I got a room change from one night facing the trains to the road. no avail... there are other options out there...

you pay what you get, if you just want somewhere to sleep, is ok , but not the rooms next to the railway side, we have to change the room after 1st night, cause the noise from the trains is just crazy. but cheap for its location.

Disappointed. Didn't realise backpackers hotel

OK but airconditioning and TV didn't work. I reported it and the following night it still didn't work property. Staff member came up to try and he struggled to get them working. Eventually they worked but not easily.
