Aging but neat, clean and tidy
In a main street but very quiet and peaceful.

Greeted on arrival by the proprieter who was very friendly, caring and helpful.
The room wasn't large and the ammenities were aging. However, everything was neat and clean.
We were only staying a short time in Toowoomba and this little place fitted the bill perfectly.

Friendliest service of the whole trip

Downs Motel is somewhat oddly situated, in the middle of a bunch of shops off a main road - but this means you're removed from through-traffic and the rooms are nice and quiet overnight. We stayed in one of the non-refurbished rooms, and it was a perfectly adequate motel room. It was very clean, if a little dark, and the bed was comfortable.
The host and hostess were extremely friendly - you get a free drink on arrival from the fridge at reception, and a choice of bacon and eggs or pancakes for breakfast, which is delivered to your room between I think 6-7.30am the next morning. We opted for one of each, it was extremely good and it set us up for our next day of travel. Not so sure what this place would be like for a week if you were staying in the area, but we were driving from Victoria to Townsville and it was definitely one of the better places we stayed.

the rooms are clean, the rates extremely reasonable and the staff go out of their way to help. with it being so close to my place of work when i visit toowoomba, i wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else.

petula and paul are very friendly and helpful. nothing is too much trouble. the rooms are very comfortable and affordable, presenting the best value for money in town. situated only a couple of minutes walk from shops and the cbd, the downs motel location is very convenient. the rooms are kept very clean.

臨時出遊，在網路上選了這家motel，從Gatton開車過去三十分內到達，附近很安靜，有幾間餐廳，走路去市區也很近，十五分內可到達，房內很乾淨又很舒適，雖然裝潢沒有很特別，是件不錯的motel。
