was much better than anticapted. slept well and wasnt as noisy as we where anticipating. Aircon was slightly dodgy though and turned itself off at regular intervals-maybe was overdue a service.
but on the whole i was pleasenlty surprised :)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Derwen hunter provided an excellent day trip out to islands...swam with lots of turtles...amazing

Convenient location with small rooms
Very cheap compared to other hostels

Locate in the main street, very convenient to walk to the beach, shops, restaurants. You can book all the activities through the reception. Green plants around all the rooms, great BBQ equipment and wifi area. However, the worst experience was to deal with the ants and other bugs.

great location & fun hostel

this was a return stay after a previous visit with friends.
this hostel is very centrally located, offers cheap accommodation with all the required amenities & services & is attached to one of the better bars in town.
staff were very helpful & friendly & the rooms/facilities are basic but adequate & suitable for the price.

We on stayed in magnums for one night, if you are looking for cheap bottom end accomadation this is your place, it is what it that and nothing more
Nightlife Tip:
This is a great place for young people as the nightclub / bar are right on you doorstep

Nice hotel and great location

We liked our stay here, our dorm room was quiet and a good size. Kitchen facilities were basic but all you really needed and they were kept clean and tidy. The surrounding garden area was well kept and nice.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close to all the tour offices.

we managed to get a twin room for pretty cheap, however I would have rather a bit more money and got somewhere different. The room was pretty small and basic and it just did not feel clean. We were not provided with any towels which was not really ideal for us. we were also told we would have free use of the internet on the hotel pc's, however the pc's were not the best and it would have been better to pay for faster and better internet! the kitchen space was ok. We were also informed that there was a night security worker who would be patrolling overnight to reduce noise etc, this however was not the case, we were awakened at 2am with other people screaming and shouting for at least an hour, we also found out that these people were staff members!!! i would not recommend staying here.
Restaurant Tip:
good deals in macdonalds!!!!
