Perched on Cliff Road on Wollongong's North Beach, this up-market property offers views of Norfolk Island Pines and calm harbor waters. Just across the road from the city's most popular stretch of sand, the Novotel Northbeach provides all things to all people, being the only hotel of its class on the water's edge. For couples there's the romance of sea-facing boutique rooms and families can enjoy the proximity of Stuart Park's barbecues and bike trails, while executives have long used this establishment as a base for their Wollongong dealings. It's a ten-minute bus ride into the CBD from here, but this location has some of the area's best seafood restaurants and for a more traditional and cost-effective Wollongong dinner, the local fish and chip shops offer the best of the harbor's daily catch.

Couples Australia, February 24, 2013	Great location, tired hotel Location 6 the novotel has seen much better days, the decor is old and tired. our room had a bathroom with chipped tiles. the bed was extremely soft, there was no tv movie option paid or free. it was an extremely rainy weekend and having access to movies would have been a big improvement. the staff in the hotel are friendly and helpful, however i wouldn't recommend the novotel. you can get a much newer, cleaner hotel for the same price in wollongong and this is what we will do if we travel there again. Restaurant Tip: Diggies cafe near the surf club directly in front of the hotel on the beach has the best brekky in Wollongong.
Stephen H. Couples Australia, January 13, 2013	Great location, service okay Location, size of room, front desk service 8.3 Ashley at the Front Desk was great, nothing was too much trouble. We had dinner and breakfast in our room. On both occasions things ordered were missing from the initial delivery. Check your bill carefully, we were charged with items ordered but not received and our pre paid accommodation was recharged on check out. These items were rectified to our satisfaction prior to final payment of our account.
