Fiji is well known for a being a diver's paradise, and fans of diving will be pleased to know there are in excess of 70 easily accessible dive sites near the resort. For a bit of history lesson in the macabre, visit the nearby Tomb of Ratu Udre Udre, the burial place of a Nineteenth Century tribal cannibal chief who consumed around 800 human beings during his reign. The food provided at the resort is top-notch (and contains no people) and certain nights of the week there are elaborate Lovo and Fijian dance performances. Due to the lower price associated with this small slice of island paradise, the Wananavu Beach Resort is a great choice for Fiji.
