Great location...rooms dated but comfortable

This was my 3rd trip to Guam...great vacation spot! The Marriott was a good value and in a central location. While the room was a little dated, the beds were comfortable and it was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Good location, but lack of facilities

It located in a nice location, good view to both sides of Yumon Bay. Not too noise, and still convenience to go out with free shuttle bus provided by DFS. However, the beds are not stable. The flexibilty is not good at all. That's why I can see the hotel is not so busy as others even compared with other hotels with no ocean views. The room is a little old and not clean enough expecially bathroom.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Could not check in early. No matter if you will check out in the midnight or not.

Good Service, but expensive for the ammenities
Room was decent with a great view of the fun times over at the Pacific Islands Club next door.

The choices for eating in the hotel were all pretty expensive. Underground parking lot was convenient. The room with a king- sized bed was acceptable and the safe in the room was appreciated. To access the internet in the Business Center cost $6 per 30 minutes.
Nightlife Tip:
You will need a car to go anywhere because the taxi's are very expensive and the trolley costs $3 per person one way to other hotels on the strip, KMART, or Chamorro Village.

the building was a bit old, but clean. the receptionists were nice, and also other people. this hotel has setback from the mainroad, so the actual walking distance from the guam's shuttle bus station is about 3 mins away. on the other hand, the beach is very close, so easy to access.

hotel is clean but quite old and has not been recently renovated. very comfortable place to have after a tiring day of sightseeing and shopping. location is good and near the shopping areas of guam. and very cheap compared to neighboring hotels.
provides free internet service if your are a marriott rewards member.
staff are friendly and will try their best to help you. we were able to get an early check-in at 6am.
will certainly stay in the same hotel on our next visit

a moderate hotel with a great quite beach

We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott, although it was not the best Marriott experience we've had. The hotel is kind of old, for example, certain metal parts in the bathroom is rusty or worn out. It is less crowded than other hotels - so we enjoyed the relaxing quite ambiance, but during peak season, it may be different. Location is a little off from the center, but since there are free shuttles, it is no problem. The beach is really nice, but the pool is a little small.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Must enjoy the snorkeling!

unfriendly frontdesk staff

1. marriott did not reply to my email request for airport transfer on my arrival.
2. the frontdesk staff(female) was very unfriendly and took about more than 30 minutes to find our reservation, despite the fact that i already gave her a printed copy of my confirmed reservation.
3. she denied my request for early check in at 11:30 a.m., and was told that the check in time is 3:00 p.m. but some hotel staff told me we can already check in at twelve noon. confusing.
4. no one assisted us with our luggage. we had to ask.
