Having stayed at many Guam hotels, we have a good base of experience for what's available. We had reserved a "super deluxe relaxing sea view", and were given a 3rd floor end-of-the-hall room with a view of a palm tree...upon requesting a better room we were promptly switched to a respectable 5th floor mid-hotel room, with a fantastic view. The rooms themselves are decent, clean, not as beat-up as many other 4-5 star hotels there, and have nice furnishings. We made an additional last-minute reservation after another trip plan fell through, selecting the deluxe twin mountain view, and were given a room in the adjacent tower (13th floor) with a great view of both mountains and sea, and a separate shower and bath to boot! We ate only at the terrace dining (buffet) for one breakfast (underwhelming) and for the seafood buffet (quite good), though I know that the other restaurants there are considered to be good.
Excellent views, accommodating service, nice rooms
Removed from the main Tumon area (this could be a pro as well!)
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Regardless of where you're staying, if you plan on taking a cab ANYWHERE, just get a rental car -- Thrifty has nice new cars for just $37 per day, which is the same cost as a one-way fare from Tumon to Hagatna!
A relaxing, enjoyable experienceGuest Rating: 3.8

The area is very clean and Guam is a nice, friendly place.
- Shopping Tip : Buy the multiple day pass to use the trolley, very beneficial.
