Great hotel, good service, extra loud AC.
The hotel lobby and pool area definitely makes you feel like you're in paradise!

Our stay at Hotel Nikko Guam was truly a paradise vacation. The entrance was definitely breath taking. It definitely made us feel like we were in paradise. The open entrance leading into the rotunda and lobby area of the hotel was beautiful, very impressive. Being able to see the pool area with all the palm trees and the beautiful ocean background from the rotunda was quite a sight. The elevator ride to our room on the 15th floor was quite beautiful as well. The view from our room was quite spectacular. We loved waking up to seeing the crystal clear turquoise water along Tumon Bay. All the staff were very helpful and very friendly. The food service provider could use a little bit of quality assurance. We weren't very impressed with Magellan's- not necessarily asking to be in a culinary capital but the buffet was just ok. The Chinese restaurant on the 16th floor was very pricey for average Chinese food, nothing really special. The sandwiches from the pool bar was very low quality and over priced. The Beach BBQ was quite spectacular, although the food could use a little bit more flavor. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation for us.

Stayed over for a dining in the service was really slow. However, the rooms were actually quite pleasant. Hotel is close to one of the few good bar's "Beach Bar".

Room was old (cracks and scuff marks on wall and bathroom had some mold on the tiles in the bathtub). Even though we had already paid for the room in full through Agoda, we still had to leave a $100 deposit.

On the Beach

Like a number of hotels in Tumon, Guam this hotel has seen better days. A little bit of refurbishment will go a long way. The room itself was big, with fantastic views over the water. It just needs updating. The balcony was great. The swimming pool area was good, with a large pool which never seemed to be full. There are loungers on the beach which is very close to the hotel.
When using the shuttle bus it is one of the last hotels on the route before going to Macy's and then one of the first on the return trip.
Did not try any of the eateries, so cannot comment.
It is possible to walk to the main area in Tumon, but expect a little bit of a walk up a hill.
