Five minutes to Auckland Airport, but rooms dated

Located on a busy road, the Gold Star was a little noisy. We booked this motel because it had self catretin facilities. When we settled into our room we were dismayed to find that neither the frodge nor the stove worked. A new room was found for us, but it was right at the front of the motel on the busy road. Staff were however most helpful. Rooms were clean though a little dated.

Late night airport transfer

Late night flight arrival - we were tired. Kids were grumpy - we were glad the pick up was timely n we managed to check into the motel quickly to get a good night rest before starting our 10 day journey in the North Island.
