This is the second time I have stayed in 15 months and I would be happy to use again. Car parking is available which is a big plus. Recommended it to other family members and they were happy too. Staff are very helpful, and we even received an upgrade to a bigger room at no extra cost.
Shopping Tip:
Don't use the dairy along from the hotel for any incidentals you may need as it is horrendously expensive; it cost me nearly $14 for the smallest jar of coffee in the world and a 1 ltr of milk, ouch! There is a New World a five minute walk away on Queen St which is much cheaper.

Nightlife Tip:
Better not to stay outside too late at night as some people are drunken on the streets in Auckland City Centre.

We stayed at this hotel which is located right in the heart of Auckland, so we walked everywhere, to all the tourist places! The hotel rooms have a bit squeezed-in feel but the interiors were good.Certainly value for money if you are not too demanding. The biggest downfall of this hotel was one adult bar right across the street which was extremely noisy in the night as we were there on a saturday! And with a three year old…this was the biggest struggle for us.
The reception staff was generally good. Breakfast was in the form of a "basket" which included a fruit/muffin/muesli bar/some milk, which was not "real" breakfast.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
All of the important tourist attractions are within a few minutes walk from this hotel including the shopping destinations.

booked a single for one night while waiting for a friend, but had to check in very early morning. no single rooms available so they put me in a 2 bedroom apartment for the same price.
nothing fancy but very well equipped with washer and drier and spacious living area and kitchen.
will stay there again under if travelling with mates.

The room is clean, friendly reception staff and good location.
I am very impressed with the reception staff, very helpful.
The hotel is not far from shopping area or bus stop. Even you don't have a car, it's easily for you just 5 mins walk to bus stops, 15 mins walk to Sky Tower. Also very convenience for one who has a car. The hotel has private car park. You just book in advance and the parking fee is only, very cheap when compare with other car park. It's also not far from many sightseeing places e.g. Mt Eden. I drove only 15 mins to Mt Eden -- Great view!!
I can say that this hotel is perfect
Restaurant Tip:
It has one chinesse restaurant near Auckland Harbour Oaks Hotel. The resstaurant name is No.1. The food's very delicious and very convenience for you to order teh take away food and have it in your room.

A nice place, room is clean. They provide room services everyday. The breakfast is the same stuff everyday, so it would be better to have different kind of food day by day.
The view from high rises room is good. The security for the hotel apartment is good. No noise, and non-smoke place.

lovely room with all the mod cons, however we didnt book the hotel carpark which proved a hassle and double the cost paying for a nearby carpark, also some saturday nite party person thought it would be a nice gesture to urinate in the door handle!

good location if you want to party or have an asian massage!

Staff is nice and friendly, room is big and look warm. But the last night i stayed at hotel, i got bed bug bite whole body ( i thought it was last night so i ask for not change bed sheet). Also cleaning lady who came to my room step on some "dung" so later the room smell so bad. But i still like this hotel.

Go to harbour and get sightseeing cruise...
