Excellent value for money

The motel was very good to our needs. We were welcomed by a friendly owner/receptionist who was quite efficient. What counted for me was the fact that although it wasn't a 5 star motel, everything was absolutely clean and tidy. The rooms were situated a bit in from the busy main road which made a huge difference to any noise. Will book there again if I go to Auckland.

I have stayed here a number of times now and I keep coming back because it is a good inexpensive motel, comfortable beds, always spotlessley clean good facilities. I can reccomend this one.

The motel is looking very tired. Although there is ample parking as suck car parks are too small and cause great difficulty getting in and out when motel is full.
Sound proofing needs some thought as upsatirs sounded like a heard of elephants when people just walking across the floor.
Restaurant Tip:
Great coffee and brunch just a couple of hundred metres down the road. handy to Newmarket shpos and restaurants.

I have stayed here several times and have always found a clean comfortable unit at a very reasonable price. They have their own excellent restaurant or there are a variety of restaurants and takeaways handy. I have no hesitation in recommending this motel, and I will certainly be using it again myself.

We found the Auckland Newmarket Motel to be in a convenient location as we headed up North to KeriKeri. The room was on the small side but lovely and clean, also warm and cosy. Free carparking right outside the door was great as it rained heavily.
We would recommend this motel as the service was excellent and the price was good too.
Restaurant Tip:
The food at the Chinese restaurant next door was great !

I have stayed here before and will stay again. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable beds. Parking a little bit tight for big vehicles, but not a problem. A range of restaurants(including an excellent one onsite) and takeaways handy. Good value.

We would not be likely to stay at this motel again as the room felt very outdated. The shower had very low pressure and it would been nice for the tv to be slightly larger than what was there. THe location was good and the reception service was excellent. We appreciated the good selection of tv channels.

Cheap. staff friendly, fresh milk for cup and of tea.

Room smelt of paint or lacquer, so we asked for a better room and had to pay extra for it. Hotel is at Epsom not Newmarket and is a fair way from downtown Auckland, so you can do better if you want to stay closer to the city. Not airconditioned so we had to leave the windows open and suffer the traffic noise all night.

unfortunately there was no security therefore on Saturday night when a bus load of people arrived they preceded to shout,scream and vomit outside our room for the best part of the night. Staring at 12-30 am and finishing at 4am, despite repeated request by my husband to keep the noise down, therefore i would never stay here again
