No issues - I've been upgraded (without asking for it) and the room was great! You could even use the kitchen, which was in it as there were pans etc.

We choose this hotel because of its location in Auckland, when we checked in the staff advised that we were lucky enough to be rceiving a free upgrade, excellent! However at a different Waldorf Hotel. We did not want to go to the other hotel as this was a 20 minute walk from the Celestian. The staff advised that they had tried to ring us to tell us but the only call we received was at 12.45 that day when we on our way. We made the booking in January for our stay in March. They said there had been an over booking due to the way the bookings had been received via the website. I felt that we had been shifted because we had made the booking at a great rate on the Agoda website and that because they had last minute requests were able to maximise the rate they charged to other guests.We were very unhappy abouting moving to another hotel and protested strongly at reception. To there credit they gave us the option of staying one night at the other hotel and then upgrading us to a penthouse appartment for the following two nights back at the Celestion.This we agreed to. It was a disappointing experience and we feel that the hotel should have honoured our bookingand we are hesitant to use the website again.
