Love this place

Always choose to stay here when I am staying in Auckland CBD. Central location is awesome, super convenient to just about everything. Clean & tidy rooms with everything you'd ever need. Having a big balcony is a key requirement for myself & these fit the criteria perfectly. Comfortable couches and a nice environment to enjoy a few beers.
In saying all this, as much as I love the rooms, the service on the other hand is inconsistent and to be questioned. I have stayed here many-a-times, and at my most recent stay I was only allowed one key card (between 4 guests) and the $200 bond was required. I do understand that this is all stated, but on the close to half a dozen previous stays (all one night), the staff at front desk did not hesitate to give me a couple of cards, and the bond was never required. I wasn't prepared to be handing over $200 cash and was more than an inconvenience.

Great Location
Great city location, with well kept clean rooms, friendly staff

Not the first time I stayed there and will not be the last. Our suite was 2 bedroom suite each with ensuite and king size bed. All amenities were there and ideal even for longer stays than the 3 days we were there.
In terms of cost, Chifley is not the cheapest but the standard of accommodation presents value. Overall 8.5 out of 10
Travel tip:
Typical of inner city accommodation, while we did not have a motor vehicle, if a patron required parking, it would be advisable to check first.

Perfect kid of room for two friends travelling. It was clean neat and tidy. A good sized suite, had everything we needed. Good location right in the centre of town. Recommended hotel!

The hotel is located in central Auckland, but away from the loud areas of queen street and viaduct harbour. The room was pleasantly large and well appointed, but lacked the cleaners' attention to detail. We found dust, some dirt and unclean dishes.
