Very pleasant - parking was a pain - sat in the road for 10 minutes while the poor bellhop sorted his cars in the entrance ... apart from that brilliant for families or business people on the move constantly as the apartment had a separate dining / living room and full appliances including washing machine and dryer which were real plus. Seems set up for people who need a city pad - excellent for that. Parking is a pain however that is central city living I guess. Service was excellent though and the front desk very helpful. Foyer is boring but very functional and aces to all Auckland has to offer is fantastic. Well recommended for folk who need a city base - I would certainly use this place again - it beats hands down the super 5 star hotels I have used previously.

Good hotel, but be aware of street noise

On the good side, location is great, right next to most of the main connections in the city. On the other side, our room was facing an alley (which includes a pub) and the noise (laughing, screaming, drunks coming out of the pub) was heard until 3-4am. Sadly, the windows are not completely isolated so if your room faces a street or alley, you will probably hear these noises all night long.

located directly in the city center with short walk to the harbor. airport bus stops directly in front of the hotel.
very friendly staff which helped us getting a rental on the same day and searched for other options.
they were just strict about the check out time and said everything after 12 would be charged.

Great base for a shopping weekend away!

I stayed for one night only, the front desk staff were nice, the room was a decent size, with large wardrobe, good size bathroom with shower, toilet, heated towel rali and a hairdryer. There is a gym and pool also. Free wifi in the restaurant/bar area only, which was annoying, you could pay for wifi connection in your room. Free canape's in the restaurant/bar was nice.
It's not the most modern stunning place and isn't 5 star, but it was suitable, clean and central. It is a 5 minute walk to the Auckland waterfront, and is right in the heart of the Queen Street shops and transport.
The only thing I thought was a bit odd in the room design, was a sliding door that opened out on to a 'balcony', which wasn't a balcony (it was only about 30cm deep) and oddly it shared with the room that was next door. You couldn't really go out on it though as it is narrow, but I was a bit paranoid someone from the room nextdoor might try and go out there and look in my room....they didn't luckily
