The rooms are large and the beds are heavenly! We were lucky in that there were no cruise ships blocking our view for our entire stay ! 5 nights! The cleaning staff are amazing! Such attention to detail in our room. I would really like to commend the Hilton for their staff who were very friendly and attentive during our stay

Overpriced and beware of cruise ships

Hotel overpriced for what it is. Cruise ship there which blocked all views of water and meant the crowd was a bit unique. Had requested two beds but only one when we arrived and took the staff 45 minutes to sort it out....frustrating.

Top hotel in great location

We arrived at 1.30am to a friendly and helpful welcome, woke to try out a small but well-equipped gym and then a great breakfast in the late summer sunshine. All the staff we encountered were helpful, friendly and efficient. Views are brilliant, best if you get a room towards the edge of the harbour. Recommend!

Looking out at the amazing view of the harbour when you wake up was refreshing...Excellent location, a nice walk to restaurants, shops and the hub of Auckland. Convenient 24 hour store at the end of the wharf.

Great views...if no huge cruiser moored alongside

room fairly good but for the rate charged, having no free in-room wifi left a bad taste. also, charging extra for a sea view should come with a clear warning that views are subject to visit schedule of huge cruise ships parked just metres off the balcony with hundreds of passengers staring down at you, wrecking any notion of privacy.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Check the cruise ship schedule if wanting sea views!

Selected a room with harbourside view, however, a ship was docked in the day we checked in and checked out. However, staff weas very obliging and tried to give us the top-floored hotel room, so as to ensure that we get an excellent view of the harbour. Near town centre and relatively accessible to most dining and tourist attractions. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic.
