rooms were tidy and towels changed daily. disappointed that parking was so expensive and not on site. it would have been better to pay more for another hotel that had bigger rooms and free parking. rooms were very small and we named our rooms the matchbox! not very family friendly as we had to sleep in two seperate hotel rooms because they had no provision for families. having said all that, i think we would stay there again. it was close to the city and wharf and we didn't even need to use the car.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close to the city and wharf. Ferries have tours of the harbour plus ferries run to Devenport and Rangitoto island.

Ideal location, clean and pleasant staff

I had a pleasant stay. The location of hotel is central just off Queens St. Easy accesible within walking distant to restaurants, shops and sky tower. I did not have to spend much on transportation.
The hotel is clean but room is small. The staff pleasant and helpful.
I would recommend people to stay here as hotel room rate is reasonable.

The room smelled of urine. The staff offered to change room, but the next alternative was a window facing a block of wall. I could not sleep because the stench of urine permeated through the room. I do not think I will stay in this hotel again. Staff is polite, will offer answers but does not go the extra mile.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you are driving, don't stay in city centre. For example this hotel does not offer parking and you pay through your nose for parking
