Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Nice hotel
Staff are helpful! Good location.

The room is quite small. I would suggest to install the lock for the bathroom.
On the other hand, the location is quite good!

Paper Thin Walls
Reasonably Quiet Location
4
During my stay one of the guest next door sneek his girlfriend into the hotel room until 430AM. I could not get a minute of sleep with all the noise through the paper thin wall.
Shopping Tip:
If you want to buy Manuka Honey go to the outer suburbs to get a good price

Thanks Kiwi International!
Very flexible and helpful management
7.7
My wife spent three days in Auckland hospital and the managers at Kiwi International Hotel were very helpful. Originally I'd booked in for only one night and they extended the booking and kept me in the same room for another three nights. Thanks for helping us through this difficult situation.

great location
great location and convenience

Location is great. Located on Queen street near K'road.
Close to Post shop, Sky tower, Town hall, Aotea centre etc. They are all in a few minutues walking distance.
Cozy accommodation with ensuite, bed, tv and kettle.
However, the window sealing is not very tight and cold wind comes in quite much in a windy night.
Not very good internet access.
You can purchase Wi-fi access but it loses connectivity when you walk into your room.
You get access to wi-fi at the lobby but still a bit slow.
Better have your own data package from mobile phone provider.

Inexpensive, nice travel hotel

The location is a few feet off of Queen Street, with easy fast bus service to and from the International Airport as well as the Auckland Harbor. Rooms are small but neat and clean. Lots of outlets (the diagonal Kiwi outlets). There is a travel office near the lobby and the lady there was very helpful to me--maximizing what I wanted to get out of my time in Auckland. Internet here (and pretty much Auckland) was a disappointment: Internet is a pay service, and it's by the megabyte, so be sure to stop automatic downloads and minimise the surfing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The "Glow worm" caves was the coolest thing I did.... Float down the underground cave in a inner tube! There is free internet at the public library. Let the travel lady near the lobby help.

Good location, helpful and tidy
Location good and tidy clean ensuite room

It was excellent value for the money, though it was noisy in the wee small hours because it has dormitory rooms as well which use a communal bathroom which had a really noisy door. The room was fairly small but it didn't cost much!
