great location, friendly staff small complex, not much variety for breakfast It was a pleasant stay. I love radio-cd/Tv available in the room. the location is fantastic, easy accessible to shops and harbor.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Walking distance to harbor so you can take a trip across to north shore where there are lots of nice cafe served great coffee. It is wonderful even only walking around the harbor area.

Friendly staff. Very fresh, clean, modern room. Clean bathroom with an awesome shower after a long flight. Perfect location, close to everything and just 2 blocks from the water front. Originally come from NZ and thought the price was unbelievably good. Only thing negative was back of hotel is close to nightclub, little disturbing at 1:00 in the morning, recommend room at front of hotel. Friendly front house staff. Very helpful housekeeping setting up our baby cot. Very fresh, clean, modern room. Clean bathroom with an awesome shower after a long flight. Perfect location, close to everything and just 2 blocks from the water front. I originally come from NZ and thought the standard was great for this price class. Would have preferred a room in the middle of the hotel or nearer the front. Often sceptical of these sort of reviews but I recommend this hotel. I'd be willing to pay about 100 - 120nzd.
Restaurant Tip : I'm a kiwi myself and always enjoy a good pie when I return home, recommend Hollywood cafe just one street behind Queen St.

I've booked a normal size twin room. When I checked in the hotel, the cleak said that they had a king size bed and a single size bed twin, and we could stay in that big size room with the same price. We felt very hapy. The room was really clean. But they didn't clean the desk and the cooker well. The price was not expensive, but the room was nice, clean and safe. It stands in the heart of the city, but it's not noisy. You can go shopping or eating on foot. It's really convenient.

close to all attractions The Mercure Windsor was easy to find-right at end of Queen street and close to the ferry terminal and free shuttle bus around town. Although we found it hard to park our car, the helpful staff managed to sort it out for us with no fuss at a small price. This allowed us to relax on our first night in New Zealand. The staff answered all our questions, upgraded us with no extra charge and our room was really comfortable and warm with breakfast making facililties and a wicked shower. Thoroughly recommend this place-we ended up staying longer-although it is cheaper to book online through Agoda!! Thanks.
Restaurant Tip : mussels at the occidental bar-yummy!

staff at breakfast very unfreindly it's a very nice hotel in the middle of the city center. It is easy to walk to all sights. Many very good restaurant around the hotel. Good TV Channels. Heater worked only low.

Close to shopping, eating and entertainment Backs onto a nightclub - loud duf duf music until 2am on Saturday night. Helpful desk staff, easy check in. Clean room with all the basics. Close to everything and great for the price. Breakfast available downstairs or in the many cafe's and eateries. Down near the pier - so close to the water and island access. Small ktchenette in room with all the basics. Good stay.
Shopping Tip : Cheap shoes at the shoes direct - through the arcade that is across the road and up 2/3 blocks.

in the center of the city, close to bus and trains, and the casino no windows for room on the lower levels, no free parking for my hired car. It is an old hotel, the rooms appeared to be renovated recently, flat screen TV, radio set, the bathroom is very spacious, the shower place does not leak. (there are not too many hotels with leak proof shower place, including the so called 5 stars hotels) The room where we stay is without window views, this does not worry me too much, because we were out sightseeing during the day, there is not much to see at night anyway.

location. Flew in to NZ and was wrecked, it was great to arrive at a nice hotel that was clean had friendly staff and a comfy bed. The location was fairly central and it was not far to walk into some great little restaurants for dinner. They put on a decent breakfast and we had an all round great stay would even recommend it.

A great location of this superb 3 star hotel in downtown auckland.
Convient for shops, tourist area's such as the Skytower and the Ferry terminal. With welcoming reception staff who try that bit harder to a great breakfast chef and his staff.Clean and well presented good sized rooms which contain a fully stocked fridge bar and and comfortable beds ensuring a good night's sleep.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Great location in Queen street for all major tourist attractions. Recommended.

Greta location right on queens street, lovely staff and lovely room. Great hotel check in easy, cheap washing machines and driers actually a dollar cheaper than the backpackers. Loads of channels on tv, big room lovely bathroom. Overall great.

Great location for Queen Street and the Harbour. We only stayed the night at this hotel but chose had a great room. It was large with fridge, microwave, cooking rings, toater and kettle.
The room was clean and tidy. The hotel is in a great location on Queen Street, next door to Gucci and just up the road from bars and restaurants. Staff were all polite and we had no problems with left luggage.
