Comfortable beds.
Good selection of TV channels.
Efficient staff. One of the lifts didn't accept my room "key" most times.
Nowhere to park, as I was driving. This hotel is located quite central to shopping and near the water. Staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The ambiance of the hotel is pleasant and some of the fixtures added a nice touch. The left lift was a bit temperamental, but that was ok as the right lift does the same job.

A lovely old Hotel, full of character and charm.
Walking distance to all the greats shops in Auckland City.

All in, the Mercure Windsor was pretty good value, and very convenient for touring the city on foot. As well, I arrived early and was allowed to check in once a room -- upgraded to a junior suite -- was ready.

Great location for Queen Street and the Harbour. We only stayed the night at this hotel but chose had a great room. It was large with fridge, microwave, cooking rings, toater and kettle.
The room was clean and tidy. The hotel is in a great location on Queen Street, next door to Gucci and just up the road from bars and restaurants. Staff were all polite and we had no problems with left luggage.
