Nice and new hotel
Very nice rooms, modern, new and clean

the novotel shares the same restaurant and concierge of the ibis hotel. the rooms are nice and new, they have a new tv and modern decor. staff are nice and friendly and the hotel is kept clean. located in a very good location right next to the ellerslie race course and very handy to the southern motorway. i would recommend this hotel to travellers.

The hotel met all my requirements- i was particularly pleased with hygiene standard and the king size bed was ultra confortable.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Where the hotel is situated from the front door it's only a 2 minute walk away to the platform to take a train into downtown Auckland for a small charge and trains run every half hour or so.
Just a little further up the road is a 24hour supermarket- a handy feature for travellers needing to top up personal items.

Nice hotel with lovely resturaunt
I was really happy with the room comfort of the bed and options availble

great for a couple of nights of recoperation, the only thing that would of made the experince a bit better would of been a couple of spa rooms!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Resturant was lovely with a huge selection, as to its location it is close to Newlyn which has many shopping and dinning out lets, this is a $20 taxi ride away.

car parking was very accessible and entry for a couple of our age was very user friendly. reception was very warm, welcoming and helpful. room access also very user friendly, and room was meticulously clean. mini bar etc was well stocked and we particularly enjoyed and appreciared the welcome by name when the tv set was turned on. the only issue for us was that there was no cutlery or crockery, but this was not major. all in all a very enjoyable experience and i would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment.

Excellent proximity to Showgrounds

This hotel is perfect if you were having to go to a trade show at the showgrounds - with them being a 5 minute drive up the road.
As for amenities - this hotel has it all, except a pool!
The hotel itself is quite modern, the bar is good with flat panel tvs playing sports, the restaurant has exceptional (a bit pricey) food, the internet is free on the 2 computers downstairs and there is a good little gym on the first floor!
I've stayed here numerous times - and I will keep on staying here for some time to come!
Shopping Tip:
Go check out Sylvia Park shopping centre - which is just a short cab ride away - it has quite a lot of good shops, restaurants, cafes and a cinema!

We arrived in NZ to attend the Great Northern Steeplechase, this is the eighth time we have done this trip from Melbourne.
I have arranged a party of ten for the last four years and we have stayed at Greenlane each time. I also travel here on business from time to time and stay a night or two.
I have always found the service and courtesy by the staff of the highest quality and I will continue to be patron.
