Couples New Zealand, December 09, 2012	Lovely friendly service, great location The rooms are large, airy, furnishing comfortable, beds huge and comfy, everything we needed 8 We enjoyed our stay, the room had all we needed. Some of the decor was a little worn, and for some reason the shower curtain over the spa bath was not long enough, it was very difficult to keep the water from going everywhere. The large king-sized bed was very comfortable and the bedding fit the bed properly (in other motels we have found bedding to be to small). Travel tip: In walking distance to the beach and shopping.

Solo travelers Netherlands, November 23, 2012	Not my first choice spacious room, friendly staff 5 This place was a last minute decision; I tried to book other places but they were fully booked and it was fine for just 1 night. It was a spacious studio with small terrace; cleanliness was just at acceptable level, soft mattress and helpful staff. There was a dusty smell in the studio like it was not used for a long time and I think the rooms are really in need for some proper renovation. Good for a short stay, but not luxury enough in any way for a longer stay, at least not for me. The lodge is located at 10 minutes walking distance of city centre and not far from the beach. Although nothing really wrong with this place I would opt for another one next time.
