Beuatiful foyer and entry, the ambience and design is very unique. Bar and dining area is cosy. Bad design of the room layouts and furniture arrangement. Some basic amenities, like coffee plunger, are missing. In-house movies are ridiculously expensive. The Quadrant is in a perfect location just out of the city centre, but close enough for walking.
The studio we booked was very small, but made smaller by poor arrangement and selection of furniture. Staff were friendly and responsive. If we were to stay again, I would book a larger room.
Restaurant Tip : Close to the city restaurants on one side, and not too far from Parnell just down the hill on the east.

Very close to the city center it's a very nice hotel located close to the CBD with friendly people. Most of the city actactions and services (ferry, train) are all within a walking distance from the hotel. The rooms are well equipped with a small kitchen and clean.
The only minor disadvantage is the bathroom which is very small but anyway it's money spent well.

Happy with the Internet booking; it worked well. Would like to have the cost in New Zealand dollars as it get confusing when in American dollars.
Travel tip : Close to the harbour and inner city. Went to the Auckland Botanic Garden which was lovely and they had a scooter for disabled people which made it very easy for my husband to get around.
