Disappointed.
The Staff were really friendly and helpful. interestingly they were prodominently Kiwis, which is unusual these days in Auckland

For the money, the quality was disappointing. There was a toe nail on the floor in the lounge/bedroom area. We looked forward to a lovely meal, but I could not eat my Lamb dish as it had been totally dumped in salt.

Other than the location which is 15 minutes drive from CDB, this hotel is great. The room is big and clean. Next to the reception has a common cafe and kitchen area. This is a good concept.

Recently stayed 4 nights at this Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Was very convenient with the little shopping centre, bakery, banks etc nearby. My husband and I found the Hotel to be very clean, well serviced daily and the office staff were very helpful indeed. Bed very comfortable and liked the idea of a card left daily by the person that serviced the room. I have no hesitations on recommending this Hotel to others. Only one draw back was that the pressure system for shower was quiet low with a little maintenance ...sure can be improved ! Other than this minor draw back...our stay was most enjoyable!
Should we have a chance to visit next time we will not doubt be staying at this Hotel again.

Room not worth for the price paid

-there were only two towels in the room for three people.
-The soap dispenser was empty upon arrival.
-There was an annoying buzzing noise in the ceiling every two minutes throughout the night.
-The room was on the small side for the family that stayed in the room and did not match the amount we paid for it.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it was very clean and neat with spacious rooms.
Even though we did not stay for a conference, I could see that the location is an excellent location for Conferences with plenty of breakout rooms and great facilities, also a great place for delegates to stay in a location that is still close enough to the city to go out at night.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Book ahead for interconnecting rooms, as they are few and far between.

Comfortable bed good quality linen, free newspapers and up to date magazines in room.

Just what you would expect from this sort of hotel, although the staff were happy to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Standard room was small, but clean and comfortable and bed linen was amazing,would stay here again.
