The Rendezvous is in an ideal location if you don't want to be in the heart of the city. City access is a quick three to five minute comfortable walk. Viaduct Harbour is slightly further (15 minute brisk walk or about a NZ$6 taxi fare). The hotel is very well appointed with all essential needs met. Rooms are generally above average in size and the fitness and pool centre is excellent for those interested in maintaining a fitness regime. Despite the swimming pool being indoors the pool surround is suitable for relaxing and lazing the day away.
Above all the Rendezvous represents excellent value for money by comparison to other Auckland accommodation.
Location, slightly removed from CBD (3 minute walk).
Good fitness centre with excelllent pool area.
Above average sized rooms. Well appointed with all the expected conveniences.

Upgrade to club room for a few dollar extra. Nibbles and drinks are offered free every evening for a few hours, great way to meet people.
