Great value with all the essentials

Picked this place as it was fairly close to the city, but just far enough outside to be not so busy. It also had free car parking (though very cramped!) unlike places in the city which may charge up to NZD25 per day for parking.
Very good value for money. The unit had all the essentials for me; comfortable bed, fairly quiet surrounds (apart from cars driving around to find parking spots), clean toilet/shower and a microwave.
The only negative was the very cramped car park. There is a section at the back which offers few more spaces but it can be tricky/cramped to get in/out of there. The outside of the motel also looks rather old/run-down but the inside was quite good as it has been refurbished, which did however result in a slight odour when I first walked in, but soon forgot about.
Travel tip:
There's a Wendy's across the road for eating out. There's also a countdown supermarket and McDonalds bit further down the main road.

Be better if they don't glaringly display their religious belief as it's to cater for people of various nations/background..it's public service/business.

Convenient location at the middle point between airport and central. Very close to chinese takeaway or fast food. The room is large and clearn. Very comfortable.

Only stayed on night here, staff were friendly and helpful as to what I should do - close to one tree hill which is good to walk up as you get a great view of auckland. Not very close to central auckland or airport.
