Overall a good stay. Breakfast was not more than standard. Bathroom was too small. Internet was unreliable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very nice and clean but felt a bit compromised to achieve five stars.

Good hotel located in the centre of the city. Easy walking distance from most central activities and 2 streets from the main shopping street and a 15 minute walk from the harbour. Room which have large windows, half of which overlook the harbour are comfortable, clean and a large bathroom with a big tub to soak in . Didn't eat there so can't comment on food.

My stay at the grand hotel was satisfying and the staff that work there do a very good job with customer service I would stay there next time I'm in new Zealand most definately it s great how the bridge connects straight to the gaming room at the casino too thanks very much
