Proximity to downtown shopping area and attractions, room furnished luxuriously
The hotel is located right in the middle of the city within walking distance to the airport shuttle bus stop. Right within the hotel is the Skywalk attraction as well as the revolving restaurant. At the atrium of the lobby there is a bus which runs at regular intervals to the Kelly Tarlton Antartic Center (great for kids!) and also a free shuttle around town for a good look at the downtown area.

Great view of the harbour and very easy access to city activities.
I really enjoyed staying in the heart of the city, lots of fun and lots of activities around without having to look for them. The hotel, although very busy downstairs, was very quiet once in the room - which really made it very easy to relax. The front desk was very efficient and quite accommodating. I shall remember NZ with fondness, specially on this last stop.

We did enjoy our two days in the hotel but wouldn't chose to stay there again.
Restaurant Tip : Excellent Chinese restaurant called the Mandarin just around the corner from the hotel.

pool, muscular, sauna, concierge, casino and of course the sky tower
there is no French films in the Chinese reception (the one we received) to establish a free shuttle bus airport / hotel / airport for customers respond a little quicker on the phone to customers in a room Lower prices for small bf down a little price to visit the Sky Tower can not take Internet access (too expensive and not enough time) to a shower separate from the bathtub
The reception has been anything but that was expected but the keeper was quite nice that the tension has decreased. There near many shops and restaurants mark also. Life in Auckland still expensive and he must leave town to find reasonable prices. Sting, business or other, you really avoid taking taxis and if you can rent a car do not hesitate a moment it comes beucoup much cheaper! !
Shopping Tip : not far from the hotel, there is a warehouse that is not bad, not expensive and certainly not need a taxi.
