One night stopover for Concert
5 minute walk to Vector Arena. Close to shops and supermarket. Close to waterfront.

It was good apart from the configuration of the room we got was not what was shown when I booked on the internet for that level of room. We ended up with an apartment with study and a small bathroom. From the pictures of the apartments online, this is called a One bedroom apartment plus office/study. I booked an Executive Apartment which doesn't show a study. When I questioned staff about this after check-in, they said it was an Executive Apartment and they all have office/study. Secondly, it was great to have a balcony to sit out on, apart from the fact they were available for smokers and the smoke from the next balcony would blow into ours and our unit when we left the door open, thereby making the non smoking policy of the rooms irrelevant for us non smokers.

we came here for a concert at vetor arena, which is literally 2min walk!! close enough to town and sky city that its only a 10min walk, and a 15min walk to the meusem. we will definately be staying here again next time we are in auckland

Definitely no service nor a smile!

I have to say I would not stay there again. The person at the desk is so important and when we arrived there with little help, not even to offer where the trolley was so we could take our bags up. It reminded me of a back packers but more upper class. The 2 bedrooms was not the case. It was one plus a box that they put a curtain across and shoved a wall up. Second day we stayed, different receptionist and still no smiles. Car parking is charged and but again help with knowledge was not there. Give me the Thais anyday.....

These are modern inner city apartments, walking distance to city and viaduct Also very easy to get onto motorways to the north and south. Our Family unit was a strange layout, with the adults sleeping in an internal room with no windows and dominated by a very large wardrobe. The children has a much nicer room overlooking a main road. It was summer and we needed the windows open at night so by 6.30 we were woken by traffic noise. Also the family unit is small, there was only seating for three on the sofa and chair. And we could not all sit at the table with out having to rearrange furniture. There is parking available behind which does mean unloading luggage at the front from a loading zone, not the most ideal, especially in rain. If you get it for the right price these apartments are value for money. But I think next time I would get a bigger room. Also these rooms are not serviced daily, only weekly.

Room was good, would have liked the rollaway pre made up, and a few more detergents/dishwashing powders as the room was not serviced over the christmas period. Would highly recommend to others. Would have liked 5 chairs for the table

Within 300metres of a countdown(woolworths) open most hours - great with hungry teen boys!

I stayed 3 nights at Stadium Waldorf Apartments with my non-English speaking elderly family. It turned out to a superb choice. The staff are warm and helpful, the location can't be beaten. 10min walk to the ferries and Viaduct and 2 min walk to Countdown and a giant Chinese supermarket across the road.
My family was able to buy food from the Chinese supermarket and cook it the way they like it in the apartments. It really helped to make them feel at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the Wifi speedy. The lift was broken at one point, but it was fixed the next time I had to use it.
The only thing I found a little inconvenient was the car parking. The car parks are in a building under 2 minute walk from the apartment itself. It can be very confusing when you first get here not being able to see a parking area at all. There is 5min road side parking in front of the hotel though for dropping off luggage and initial check in.
Highly recommend!
Hotel Feature Tip:
The Beach Road side rooms can be noisy if you like ventilation and leaving the windows/sliding door open, but once closed the rooms are sound proof.
