Couples Australia, May 01, 2013	Dissapointed Staff, location,pool. 7.3 We were very dissapointed with the hotel as they failed to tell us that they had built apartments on the top of the existing hotel and that the lifts serviscing them run constantly directly in front of our room thereby obliterating the view.The hotel is trading on past glories and does not deserve the Stamford name and the expectations that that brand brings. .The staff are clearly embarressed.I would rate it 4 stars because of the staff and pool area.

The lobby area has been renovated and looks clean and modern. The room was not renovated, but of good classy standard. The internet access was free. The restaurants were nice.
