The standard of service was equal to the best we have experienced worldwide.
We encountered only one problem. The mattresses were too firm. This harness led to uncomfortable nights of tossing and turning. Can softer mattresses be supplied?
min. 50 words Our stay at the Stamford Plaza was all one might expect from a five star hotel. The service was excellent from the moment of arrival when our car was parked safely for us. Our baggage was promptly delivered to our room, and the staff were very helpful. Meals were first rate, served promptly and without fuss. Our only problem was the hard beds which lead to restless nights and morning aches. Perhaps a five star hotel should offer a choice of mattress type.
