Comfortable, but nothing to rave about

Cleanliness lacking, cleaners left mops and buckets in the corridor over night and then another night a disposable glove must of fell off the cleaners trolly...it was left lying on the floor in the corridor for at 14 hours.

Overall my stay was satisfactory. As a business traveler, I was very disappointed at the internet speed during my entire stay. I called to the front desk for assistance and they did do all they could, but bottom line, they just do not have hi-speed internet. The staff suggested I worked in/near the hall or downstairs in the bar area for a better signal which was in no way ideal. The Quadrant is centrally located which is great as there really isn't too much to do at the hotel. There is a gym but the equipment is a bit outdated. Room size is a bit on the small side, so I would recommend this hotel to adults who are in town for leisure and don't plan on spending much time at the hotel and are looking for something reasonably priced.

I was traveling in a group of 4 and had booked the 1 bedroom unit at the Quadrant. The room is nice and comfortable with cooking facilities, washing machine and ironing facilities. Not that we need those, but it might come in handy for others. The most important thing for us is the free WIFI access which most city hotels in Auckland does not provide, or in a limited way. That pretty much sealed the deal for us. Last but not least, the room price is very reasonable.
