Great hotel staff a little uppity

Very nice rooms avoid the lower ones or the ones facing car park street view,
Manager became rude when didn't want to leave credit card details my argument being that I had paid in full in advance and would not use mini bar however they agreed reluctantly eventually,the moment I was in my room a maid came in and cleared the mini bar!!!!!
What a fuss! Over nothing

Nice hotel but awful internet options

This is a nice hotel to stay, but since Accor took it over recently, they have made it impossible for the business traveller through the way they have set up the internet service. The cost is expensive per day, and it is based on 1 device only (I have laptop, iphone and ipad, then there is also my wife..)The rooms are set up so the internet cable is too short to enable you to also sit at a desk, or even plug your laptop in. Had to move couch and tabbles, and then people couldn't move around the room. Not good!! I wouldn't normally complain, but we are very unlikely to go back. I won't even mention the curdled milk in the fridge..Fix the internet, we will come back, otherwise we will stop coming (have been staying there for over 4 years at least 2 times per year)

The best thing about this hotel is the ability to visit bars and restaurants close by and sign for drinks and meals to you room account.
Great for business and leisure, everything walkable, there is nothing to dislike about this hotel, great reception staff too! Taxis if needed always outside.
All in all great value for money.
Restaurant Tip:
The Kermadec restaurant and O' Hagans Irish Pub definitely worth a visit.

Stayed for two nights and although I moved rooms due to some works noise going on outside the hotel it was a great experience. The staff were very friendly and accomodating when I complained. Try to get a room with a harbour view as its a great view.

Great Location in a great City

Fantastic location, directly at the Viaduct. Just beautiful there, with a lot of things to do. Of course great food everywhere around.
One cool feature of the hotel, you can eat at several restaurants around the hotel and book it to your room. Large and comfortable rooms with a small kitchen to take care of yourself.

I served my apprentiship in 1944 at this site when it was a marine engineers and hadn't been there for 20 years so wanted to see the changes, we will be back

Great location
Location is very good, rooms are of a good standard.

My daughters also stayed and found the front counter service rude to say the least. They would not stay there again.This is very disapointing as I have stayed there many times over the last few years on business. Silly comments were made about them sharing a room.Very unprofessional.
