The place is clean and staff very nice. The room is normal size for backpacker. Toilet is clean. WIFI cheap. Location near city.
In the night some siren but it is OK
Anyway somebody please change location in Google Map to the corner.

Great location, very friendly helpful staff. The shared bathrooms were clean and the showers were new. The rooms are a good size and well equipped (with fridges). A much better option than many of other hostels in the city!

Overall very good.
But location is a little bit noisy in mid night due to the presence of a fire station and the Beijing Club, and the habit of some hostel guest of talking and smoking in the hostel garden.

OK if there are not any issues encountered. Very disappointed at the attitude of the manager, and this same attitude reflected in the staff's approach to seeking solutions to issues that a customer encounters. Repeated unauthentic apologies and appearing to address the issue when it was obvious that the reception staff did not do a thing to help was not appreciated. The issue was that the power went out out at about 6am, I noticed as I use a CPAP machine do the sleep apnea and this stopped. After working out that it was the power in the room, and the power point outside was also not working (working in the laundry), called reception at 6.30 and was told there was nothing they could do and would pass on the message to the day reception. at 8am went and saw the day reception who told me I would have to wait till monday to have it addressed (message for night staff was not passed on). I asked them to show me where the switchboard was and the receptionist told me she did not know. cut a long storey short, I went to see her again at 11am and at 1.30 pm, even speaking to the manager on phone who said he would followup on the monday (never did on 2 issues). The cleaner (after 1.30pm) discovered that there was no power and went to the switchboard (safety switch had tripped in 3 rooms). I got her to show me where the switch board for future reference as dealing with reception was a waste of time. As a manager myself, I would be very embarrassed about an issue like this not being addressed by staff in a timely manner (6 hours is unacceptable in any establishment).

the hostel is generally clean with basic amenties. wifi is chargeable but at a reasonable and affordable rate. the room is clean although it is rather small. the location is good and close to the city centre which makes sightseeing easy. the room only has one power source which could be quite a hassle. overall a good experience especially with the low price.

I had a great time, used the kitchen for cooking and the gym for workout. There are people staying there for months. Feels like students home. Good location
