our room was very clean and modernly furnished. the kitchen and bathroom were well-equipped with modern facilities. the staff are very helpful and friendly. will definitely recommend this motel and also go back there again.

Very Convenient and Well Located Motel

After the quakes, most of the business hotels went out of business and I had to look for alternatives. Ended up in Bealey Avenue Motel and was more than pleased with the room, service and location!
In a city as Christchurch, you love to stay at a ground floor ;-)
There are many Motels in that area, but Bealey Ave looks as omen of the better ones!

christchurch has been devasted by the earthquake but you should go.
the locals are trying to rebuild ther life's and you should support them.
the casino offers good food and the locals are keen to meet tourists.
we would strongly recommend a visit to christchurch

Sadly due to the earthquake , there are few eating locations.

location near town & easy access to public transport or to just walk around the town

the motel had a basic facilities, nothing fancy but enough for stop by. Rooms is comfortable & parking are provided for traveler who is driving. Clean & facilities are well maintained.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Town center is just a walk away from the motel. enjoy the botanical garden & few other places within the town area radius. Pity the town is in the recovering process, most shops are closed at the time being.

didn't know that CBD in CHC is restricted after earthquake, but still enjoy the pleasant weather and park.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Since we arrived late so the manager waited and not happy. suggest next time be sure to advise in advance especially booking with motel.

we stayed here for one night after arriving from Sydney. Next day we rented a car for Queenstown, so we just needed a place to sleep. Bealey Ave Motel met our needs with the wifi and the cleen room.
We where a little shocked by the state the city Christchurch were in though.. Didt know the damages was that bad and intensive, but the people of this city shows to be innovative and strong, so they will def. rise again..

the room is nice and clean. even it's the studio unit, it provides full kitchen facilities. it's located on the main street but it's a little bit far from the cbd, and about 15-20 mins walk to the botanic garden. other than that, all good.
