Our "club" option offered very tasty snacks at cocktail hour. 24 hr beverages and delicious continental breakfast.
our room was comfortably expansive with luxurious towels and bedding. Nice in-room glasses for drinks and morning beverage also...mini bar with rrom to store own items.
excellent eating opportunities in hotel with friendly informative helpful staff encountered everywhere!
The internet is available in club lounge and found AFTER we has bought 24hr internet...would be nice to have hourly option in room.
We found it difficult to find the entrace into hotel as it is on the corner of a one-way system which we circumnavigated 3 times!. ...direction to hotel entrace would be useful maybe.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : everything down town Christchurch is within walking distance. Make sure to visit teh botanical gardens with free admission and a wonderful plce to stop for a cup of tea afterwards at the old house.

This was so centrally located that it was easy to get to the Arts Centre, the central business district, shops and cafes and cute little pubs, perfect to get away from the chilly weather. The room was really comfortable and affordable for the quality.
So central and convenient
We didn't have enough time to enjoy the hotel
- Travel tip : There is a really cute German pub just across the Cathedral Sqaure which was great hot chips and aoli

The Crown Plaza in Christchurch in nicest hotel in town. The location is great. The hotel is right beside a park which gives it a beautiful college campus feel to it. They also have great movies on demand, which you need because there is not much nightlife. The rooms very nice, but little generic. The lobby has a wonderful bar area.
Great location, best hotel in town, wonderful restaurants in the lobby.
The rooms are a little generic.
- Restaurant Tip : There is an excellent Bengali restaurant very close to the hotel called Nobanno. We went twice.
Great Location & amenities
