Ann H. Business travelers United Kingdom, May 17, 2013	Pleasant Friendly staff, 7 Hotel has only been open for 2 weeks, thus staff were very new to their jobs and lacking polish. Obviously still working under difficult conditions. However, very willing to please. Only one lift working at this time and no internet in the rooms - only available in the sitting area in the foyer where most guests held their meetings. Will settle down I'm sure. Was not impressed with the meal - guests only at one other table and meal still took quite a while to arrive, well presented cuisine but mine was not hot enough (risotto). Chef upset when I quietly asked if I could have it heated up a bit. Were able to spend the most of the morning working in the lounge area with colleagues. No problem with late check-out and storage of luggage which was most appreciated. The bathroom disappointing. No bath and shower had a fixed shower head and no convenient knob to hang one's towel outside shower. Otherwise nicely appointed clean room.

Couples Australia, February 02, 2011	wery nice newer hotel centrally located to everything 10 the hotel was first class in all aspects--location,service,cleanliness etc.Being only a short walk from cathedral square,we had the option of lots of restaurants and cafes plus we were just around the corner from the bus depot which made our journeys to queenstown and dunedin so easy. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: do the antartic tour--excellent

Couples Australia, January 26, 2011	great hotel central to all our needs proximity to transport & tours--lovely room --virtually new--wonderful bathroom 10 the marque is a very new hotel just a short walk from Cathedral square.It is also only about 300 metres from the intercity bus office and pickup.perfect for travels to Queenstown ,Dunedin and back to Ch. Ch. surrounded by cafes,restaurants,shops and local attractions we found the location ideal.We stayed here twice(3 days going and 1 night on our return)each time the room was big enough for the two of us,very well presented(once floor 7 and once floor 12)with tea/coffee making facilities,fridge,quite a large bathroom.The staff were very obliging,helpful and extremely courteous. Hotel Feature Tip: if returning to christchurch airport ,the hotel will organize a shuttle for nzd21--(less than half the cabfare to the airport).Pickups can be arranged for any time --very helpful when we had to be at the airport by 4.30 Am.
