Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Good, friendly and helpful reception
This is a friendly and well run hotel which is very convenient for the airport ( although we didn't hear any planes to disturb our sleep). Reception was efficient, friendly and helpfull although we didn't get full information on bus services to the city centre - there are three services and we only found out about 1 of them.
The bedroom was clean, well prepared and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom was also clean and well prepared with adequate towels and a good supply of toiletries.
We used the restaurant for dinner once and found the menue a little limited but the foos was well prepared and hot, well presnted by friendly, efficient staff.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : ask about all bus services into the city and particularly returning on service 3 or 10.

walking distance to chchch airports, great for red-eye flights, with 24 hour shuttle service.
rooms look old/tired, but this is really only a minor thing, they were clean and comfortable.
this was a return visit, having stayed here only a few days earlier. I was also impressed when they offered me gluten free bread for toast at breakfast. Not all hotels accommodate people with allergies. Staff were friendly particularly in the restaurant, the checkout was very quick, and I recommend this hotel if you have a late arrival or early departure.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Antarctic centre is just across the road.

- walking distance from Christchurch airport
- good restaurant with friendly staff
- beds were a bit too soft (saggy mattresses). But this is a really minor issue, no problems sleeping!
Sudima was a good choice for us. We needed a twin-share room, and they provided us with one. It is a big hotel with lots of rooms, and can be a bit of a maze to navigate back to reception. It is not stylish since it is an old hotel, but rooms were clean and modest. I would say that this hotel is an ideal choice if you arrive late or have to depart early.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Antarctic Visitor Centre is only a short walk away.
