It was our first night in New Zealand after a red-eye flight and we are very glad to check in to a highly comfortable accommodation like Mangrove Manor. Our hosts were very helpful in sharing relevant information, as well as very generous in their provisions to ensuring our comfort. The breakfast was delicious and the conversations with our hosts were most engaging. Thank you , Peter and Anne, for a lovely start to our vacation in Coromandel :)

We spend two nights at Mangrove Manor Bed & Breakfast. It is a beautiful house, very quiet and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and it is served at a nicely decorated dining room. You can use a cosy, well equiped living room if you wish to stay inside the house or sit at the terrace with the house owners to enjoy a nice talk or just the beautiful sunsets.
From the place you reach in few minutes downtown, where there are several pubs, restaurants, banks, stores and supermarkets.
It is a good location from where you can start your journey to discover Coromandel.
Having a car is recommended.
Restaurant Tip:
We had dinner at a nice restaurant called "Old Olive Tree" (I cant remember the name).The food and service is good.
