Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.
We want you to pay the lowest possible rate for your room. If you have reserved a hotel room through Agoda, and then show us that you could book the same room, for the same dates, at a lower rate, that is viewable and bookable on another website, within 48 hours of booking your room with us, we will either match that rate or beat it. Mercure Dunedin Hotel Dunedin Info
Behind a grand Victorian facade, this property exudes elegance and history close to the shops and caf's of George Street. A ten-minute walk from the Octagon, the city's picturesque center point 'the Mercure Dunedin' is a classy establishment handy for urban sight-seeing. Interiors feature subtle hues and smart contemporary lines contrast against ornate period detailing, with an original caged elevator adding to the charm. In terms of nightlife, the hotel is only a block away from the casino and cabs are readily available on Princes Street for quick access to restaurants and bars out of walking range. Staff is well-educated on Dunedin's attractions and happy to help organize tours or plan driving itineraries along the region's beautiful coastline.

Having to pay for parking in such a small city
We stay here often as the service is personal and friendly.the resturaunt is small and intimate and serves excellent food.therooms are spacious and comfortable. The parking is a little expensive given it's a small city and rents are cheap they have plenty of tour information availible and you get a free paper .the hotel. Is in the main street and is walkable to shops and places of interest.this hotel should be pleasing to everyone.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Cadbury factory tour

Very expensive Internet fees.
Room was like a broom cupboard.
This Hotel is reasonably positioned in
Dunedin.
Many restaurants and shops are close by, can be reached easily by foot. The room was clean but tiny, and next to the lift that looked like it was installed before Hilary was born.
The Hotel restaurant was clean and helpful and served the local fare (Lamb) which was sensational. Desk staff were friendly and helpful which was handy as it was my first time in the city. Recommended.
Hotel Feature Tip : Don't get room 512, it is the broom cupboard for a bigger room and you will have to sleep standing up!
