Occupying a stately original 1880�s corner block, this hotel offers modern rooms and proximity to Dunedin�s city center. A block from the Octagon, the Scenic Circle Southern Cross is a beautiful hotel both outside and in. While the fa�ade dates back over a hundred years, the interiors are freshly renovated in a contemporary manner, different wings dictating different styles of room and d�cor. Also within the hotel complex is Dunedin�s boutique casino plus a number of restaurants and a bar � not that the locality doesn�t offer a wide selection of places in which to drink or dine. One of the city�s most popular tourist spots � the 1878 Speight�s Brewery � is just across the road.
